MPI are aware that there are still many UK residents that are overseas and haven’t managed to return back home – either hunkering down where you are, in order to not put yourselves at any more risk or finding it impossible to return.

What you might find is that your travel insurance policy has or is about to expire. Usually insurance does automatically extend for a certain amount of time as you can’t physically get back, however this can only usually be for a couple of months (policies differ). At MPI its three months

Fortunately at MPI we can help.  Most travel insurances cannot be purchased whilst outside your country of residence, however you can with MPI.

There is a question asking if you are aware of anything that could give rise to a claim, as there would be no cover for any incidents whilst uninsured with MPI prior to purchase, plus of course no cover for anything relating to Coronavirus as this is a known pandemic, but all other cover remains in place as usual.
