It is usual for companies to take out a Business Travel Insurance Policy to cover all employees travelling whilst overseas on company business. You may wish to include cover for your staff’s leisure travel as a staff benefit.
At MPI Brokers, we provide this Insurance under our MPI Corporate policy. The premium is set on a declaration basis and reviewed annually, and is calculated based on the number of staff who travel, how many trips and to where.

Cover for corporate staff travel in addition to our usual MPI cover is as follows:-
Additional necessary travel and accommodation costs for a colleague to continue the work of the company in the event that a staff member falls ill or injures themselves and they are unable to continue a business trip.
To indemnify the company or firm in the event of a loss under the cancellation section other than for leisure travel
Sum insured under personal effects section is increased by £1,500 and extended to include company property, mobile phones and samples. In addition the single article limit is increased to £750, the valuables limit is increased to £1,000, and the delayed baggage limit is increase to £750.
Sum insured under personal money section is increased to £500 and includes company money.
