Skiing alongside James Palmer-Tomkinson, his daughter Honor Palmer-Tomkinson and Rosanagh Robertson, Michael turned in good performances in both the marathon and slalom events.

The Business Challenge, inaugurated this year as a fund-raiser for SWH, involved 15 teams of prominent City and financial people and three teams from the wounded veterans that the charity is helping back towards meaningful employment.

James Palmer-Tomkinson, who is a member of the SWH executive committee and whose company PT Ski is a specialist ski service provider in Klosters, used his local knowledge to design the marathon and slalom events so that able and disabled skiers could compete on equal terms. Klosters is the first resort in Switzerland equipped for adaptive skiing.
